The costing rule category is used to provide a subdivision within the costing rule: You can create a costing rule for either single transactions or single positions.
Use
- For single transactions (for example, single stock orders), components such as realized price gains and losses or a trading terms contribution can be calculated.
- For single positions (for example, a bond position), components such as market volume, opportunity volumes, or unrealized price gains and losses can be calculated.
