Definition

The transaction status defines the current status of the financial object.

Use

You set the status within external data transfer. The following statuses are permitted:

  • New
  • Changed
  • Deactivated, that is as from a certain point the financial object is no longer active
  • Reversed, that is the activity is undone

You can use the status field to influence the evaluations in external data transfer as follows:

  • Costing is not started for deleted financial objects.
  • Reversed financial objects are not recosted in bank profitability analysis. In addition to this, in the case of financial objects that have already been costed and have been reversed, the results are reset.
  • New financial objects may include transactions whose start of term is before the productive start of SAP Banking. You can transfer the year and the period for which costing has already been carried out for the financial object for financial objects with the status New only.
