Documentation
Definition
With this indicator you define how the net present value of the average effective capital is to be calculated for transactions with a cash flow.
Use
SAP Banking provides a fixed procedure for calculating the NPV of the average effective capital. The net present value can be shown separately. If you want a different calculating procedure, you can either transfer the net present value directly or define your own procedure in a user exit.
The standard procedure provides a calculation of the average effective capital between payments as the quotient of interest contribution and effective interest, whereas the quotient results from interest amount and ln(1+effective interest) via integration.
