Underlyings are part of transactions such as options and futures. They are not relevant for other transactions. The underlyings, together with other product category-dependent characteristics, can be used to determine a position. Underlyings are not managed in IS-B; their only function is to differentiate the positions. You transfer underlyings as part of the general data transfer. If required, you can select underlyings as an evaluation criterion.
