Documentation
Definition
For accounts and variable transactions, the opportunity interest rate can be calculated from an average if the relevant indicator is set in the ALM valuation type.
Use
If you do not set the indicator, a simple average is calculated. If you set the indicator, the maturity is divided into steps, which are used to calculate past values for the opportunity interest rate (floating average).
