Definition
The increment determines the interval between two dates in a date raster. In addition to the usual intervals between two dates (day/month/year) you can define weeks (unit = day; increment =7), quarters (unit = month; increment = 3) or half-years (unit = month; increment = 6).
An entry is always seen in relation to the previous date. The first date is seen in relation to the horizon or the evaluation date.
