Definition
The analysis structure is the technical carrier for all characteristics that are to be used for reporting within the various analysis applications. For example, only those characteristics assigned to an analysis structure can be used in portfolio hierarchies.
Analysis structures are defined so that they apply across all clients. In each client, only one analysis structure can be active, however. This is used in the application functions.
