Definition
The ID of a portfolio node uniquely identifies a node in a portfolio hierarchy. The ID comprises a maximum of 6 digits. You need to create a node ID for each node in the risk hierarchy.
In the "previous node" field you also enter a node ID - that of the directly preceding node. The only node that has no node directly preceding it is the uppermost node in the portfolio hierarch: the overall bank node. Here the "previous node" field remains empty.
Since there is no predefined sequence for creating the nodes in a portfolio hierarchy, you can enter an ID for which there is no actual data record yet in the "previous node" field. For this reason, no input help is provided here.
