Definition

There is not necessarily a relevant yield curve for costing bank transactions in exotic currencies. The yield curve is determined by the yield curve type and the currency. If the transaction is in a currency for which there is no matching yield curve, the system uses the default currency yield curve, which is defined per bank.

Note

If the system is unable to determine a yield curve based on the yield curve type and default currency, transaction costing is not carried out.
