Definition
Position groups are used to summarize positions, which in turn contain simulated or fictitious transactions.
Position groups are used for reporting purposes in the area of non-additive key figures (such as value at risk). In this area it is not possible for you to group positions together individually. When you define a form, you must enter one position group for each key figure. This is the position group for which you want the corresponding key figure to apply (if you specify a position group in the general settings, the position group applies for all key figures in the form).
When defining a position group, you can specify as many items as you choose. An item can be either a single value or an interval. The single values or intervals do not have to correspond to existing position numbers.
If you want a position group to include real transactions, the items must contain the position number "#".
To assign a key figure real transactions only, specify the position group "#".
