Definition
You use this indicator to control the selection of base portfolios, which are used to update the portfolio hierarchy.
You usually do not set this indicator. In this case, the system selects base portfolios using a time stamp. It considers only those base portfolios that were created since the portfolio hierarchy was last generated or updated.
If you set the indicator, the system reads all base portfolios in the views of the analysis structure, and compares them with those already in the portfolio hierarchy.
If the data in the system is consistent, then both methods give the same result. Therefore, you should set the indicator if you think the data might be inconsistent (for example, after an update has failed).
