Documentation
Definition
Describes the difference between the maturity of a security and the evaluation date. If a security does not mature (for example, a stock), the system sets the remaining term of the security to 0.
Use
This is used in the simulation of the revenue from the liquidation of securities. Based on the evaluation type and valuation rule specified, the system selects entry whose remaining term is greater than the remaining term of the security in question. If there is not an entry that has a larger remaining term, the system uses the liquidation scenario for the next largest remaining term.
