Definition
The sequence number in the document management table enables you to archive postings and reversals.
The system assigns the first posting the number '1' as a sequence number. When the posting is reversed, the new document is saved under the next largest number. Therefore the following connection exists: The largest number represents the current document, all smaller numbers refer to reversed documents.
