Definition

When external data is transferred, the system reads the raw data and stores it temporarily in an internal table. This table must contain at least those fields explicitly defined for transfer category 'G' in the required/optional control, or for the other transfer categories. You can either create the table yourself with transaction /nse11 or let the system generate it automatically.

If you want the table to contain additional fields (in order to receive data from a different transfer category as well, for example) you must insert these extra fields manually using /nse11.
