Definition

The adjusted transfer price (opportunity interest rate) is the transfer price of the alternative cash flow that is used to distribute reserve requirement costs to periods.

Within NPV calculation, the NPV of reserve requirement costs is deducted from the NPV margin for the transaction. This also reduces the net interest margin contributions for the intervals between the payment dates, and leads to a changed alternative cash flow or transfer price.

Use

Both the adjusted and the unadjusted transfer prices are stored in the cash flow header and used to distribute the NPV of the margin to periods.
