Definition

A customer does not want to be contacted on a particular telephone number and has given this information to a call center. Set this indicator for that telephone number.

Example

You must set this indicator rather than deleting the number, because of the requirements of the call center. The system uses the incoming telephone number to recognize the caller. In order to support processes for dealing with incoming communication, the number that is no longer to be called is still required by the system.

The same applies for other types of communication, such as fax or e-mail.
