Definition

This date is only used in the flexible procedures, when reserve requirement costs are determined, and for calling up costing in general.

  • Flexible Procedures
    • The system determines the number of reporting periods from the start to the end of the transaction for the distribution of costs.
    • It checks whether the "last period" requirement is fulfilled.
  • Reserve Requirement Costs
    • Reserve requirement costs only calculated if there is a reserve requirement key date between the start and the end of the transaction, or if both the start and the end of the transaction are not maintained.
  • Costing Call-Up
    • If the transaction end date is maintained, the transaction is only costed if the costing period is before the period in which the transaction end date falls.

If only the "Transaction start date" is maintained, the system enters '31.12.9999' in the "Transaction end date".
