If you use variable transactions with the value maintenance 5 - with values from the ledger accounts, and these transactions are also selected in market risk, credit limit or asset-liability management (as opposed to Profitability Analysis), this field is used to determine whether the balance calculated for the item can be included in the calculation for the total balance for the risk components for a ledger item of a variable transaction.
