Definition

The net interest margin is the difference between interest revenue and opportunity income for asset-side transactions or opportunity cost and interest expense for liability-side transactions.

Use

The net interest margin contribution can be calculated as follows:

• By calculating the net interest margin contribution from the interest income of the customer transaction and the funds transfer amount (opportunity contribution) using the transaction currency.
• Calculating the net interest margin contribution from the average value of the transaction in the local currency and a fixed predefined margin in %.
• Transfer
• User exit
