Definition
The value-date-based balance-carried-forward for a business partner account is the sum of the value date account turnovers posted upto the carry-forward date. The value-date-based balance-carried-forward is managed in the account currency.
Use
The system can determine the balance of a business partner account on a certain day via the balance-carried-forward and the account turnovers posted upto that day. The balance-carried-forward is automatically updated during costing.
