Definition

Unit costs are understood to be the operating costs which are assigned to single transactions as standard direct costs within single transaction costing.

Use

The unit costs, as a cost component, are included in the periodic contribution margin scheme of a single transaction. They are determined within the flexible procedures by defining bank-specific unit cost amounts. The contribution margin scheme can be individually defined thus allowing further subdivisions of the unit costs.
