Definition
The NPV of the risk costs is the value that results when risk costs are discounted to a key date (commitment date, date at which the transaction is concluded).
Use
The NPV of the risk costs, as an imputed costing component, is taken into account in the key-date-related contribution margin scheme for a single transaction. It is determined within the framework of the flexible procedures on the basis of specified bank surcharge rates.
