Definition
The reference price is used to calculate the trading terms contribution. The trading price is compared with this reference price which corresponds to the fair market price or equilibrium price.
Use
Based on the product category, the reference price may be
- an amount (e.g. for stocks)
- a percentage rate (e.g.for bonds and debentures)
- an exchange rate (e.g. for foreign exchange)
- an index value (e.g. for options on the stock index)
Maintenance
You have to transfer the reference price for each position flow.
