Definition
The NPV margin of a transaction corresponds to the value of the NIM contributions related to the transaction conclusion date.
Use
The NPV margin can be calculated for transactions with fixed cash flows.
Note
The NPV margin can also be calculated for single tranches of a position. In that case, the field then contains the sum of all NPV margins for the single tranches in the period. The NPV margin for single tranches is stored per individual tranche (position flow).
