Definition
The posting-date-based account balance describes the account balance on a particular date in relation to amounts posted. The posting-date-based account balance is managed in the account currency.
Use
An account can be managed either with turnovers or daily balances.
When managed with turnovers, the field contains the posting-date-based account balance, which is calculated and updated as part of period-end costing.
When maintained with daily balances, the field contains the posting-date-based account balance, which is updated every time the value-date-based or posting-date-based daily balance changes.
