Definition

The flow category is used to make a general classification of a flow. More detailed differentiation of the flows is achieved by assigning them flow types.

  • Standard flow: This category includes all flows which actually occur in the transaction, that is, are not generated from the transaction conditions. Such flows immediately enter the cash flow. You can subdivide the flows of this category into disbursement, charges/ commission, and special repayments, for example, using the flow type. The system determines the cash flows from the conditions of the transaction while taking into account the standard flows.
  • Individual disbursement procedure: Here the disbursement procedure for the transaction is planned/assumed (it may or may not actually happen this way). The individual disbursement procedure does not enter the cash flow immediately. Some applications (such as Profit Analyzer) use it to generate certain imputed cash flows.
