Definition

You can classify a flow using flow types.

For example, in the case of a loan transaction, the cash flow resulting from the conditions of the contract consists of individual flows. Using transaction types you can make greater distinctions between flows. For example, you can differentiate between interest payments and loan repayments, or fees and commission.

Examples of flow types:

  • Nominal interest
  • Committment interest
  • Repayment by installments
  • Annuity repayment
  • Repayment on maturity
  • Sales commission
  • ...
