Documentation
Definition
The NPV of the average actual committed capital is an underlying value for the calculation of costing components (risk costs, equity costs, ...) for the NPV calculation.
Use
The actual committed capital is calculated from the cash flow and the related effective interest from customer transactions. The actual committed capital remains constant between two payment dates.
For NPV calculation, the actual capital is multiplied on the payment dates with the zero bond discounting factors of the evaluation day and added. The zero bond discounting factors depend on the yield curve (local currency) allocated to the transaction.
