Definition
The posting-balance-carried-forward for a business partner account reflects the sum of the account turnovers posted upto the carry-forward date. The summation itself is carried out on the basis of the posting date of the account turnovers. The posting-balance-carried-forward is managed in the currency of the account.
Use
The balance of a business partner account on a certain day can be determined via the balance-carried-forward and the account turnovers posted up to that day. The system automatically updates the balance carried forward during the calculation.
