Documentation
Definition
The position change amount reflects the value of a flow which changes the position. This amount is recorded in the system for certain asset forms e.g. bonds and debentures. A flow is generated by a securities order or a transfer.
Use
The position change amount is used to calculate the current position value e.g. if a bond with a nominal value of 1 million DEM is bought the position value will increase accordingly.
Note
- This field is not used for product categories such as stocks where position management is unforeseen.
- With some issues, the nominal amount of the single tranche is stored here. The nominal amount is used to calculate the cash flow for the single tranche.
