Definition

The settlement NPV margin of a transaction is the value of the interest conditions contributions based on the time of the transaction settlement compared with the alternative transaction on the money and capital market of the local currency.

For the layout of the cash flow, the actual payment times are taken into consideration. As long as there has been no value date fixing, the value date is fixed as the 1st of the following period or assumed to be at the time of the last planned payment.

Use

You can calculate the settlement NPV margin for transactions with a fixed cash flow.
