Definition
Income from the recovery of receivables results if repayments are made after the write-off date. This income is managed as a profit-and-loss-statement item.
Use
To determine the risk result, the actual risk costs are compared with the standard risk costs for default risks assigned to the individual transactions. The actual risk costs comprise the individual value adjustments and direct write-offs minus the revenue items such as income from bad debts and written-back provisions.
