Definition

The quantity and quantity unit are required to record changes to the flow in terms of quantity e.g. '10 units' or '100 grams'. The quantity unit must correspond to the quantity unit in the position.

Use

This value is used to calculate the current position in terms of quantity. The quantity is only recorded for certain product categories e.g. stocks.
