Definition
Alphanumeric character sequence used to group materials using the
combination of various IS-M characteristics.
Use
In the standard system the product hierarchy can have up to 3 levels
and each of these levels has a certain number of places.

Examples
You define a product hierarchy with the following levels:

In this example the washing machine belongs to product hierarchy
