Definition

Publisher's ISPC number (Intermedia Standard Press Code). A standardized procedure using collective computer centers for data exchange between newspaper and magazine wholesalers (ZZ) and ZZ publishers based on unified number systems. The data on sales figures passed on from the sellers' computer centers to a collective computer center are checked formally there and selected by publisher. Each publisher can call up these figures at the collective computer center.
