Definition
The EDI participant number identifies the business partner in the EDI procedure in question.
In Germany, this is the ISPC number (Intermedia Standard Press Code).
This is a standardized data exchange program using collective computer centers between newspaper and magazine wholesalers ('ZZ') and 'ZZ' publishers, based on unified number systems. The data on sales figures transferred from the traders' computer centers to a collective computer center are checked formally there and selected by publisher. Each publisher can access these figures at the collective computer center.
