Definition
Country key under which information is recorded, which is used to check entries, such as the length of the postal code or the length of the bank account number.
The two digit ISO CODE according to ISO 3166 is usually used, which is provided by SAP as a proposal.
Other options are the country key for vehicles or a country-specific key, such as the key for the federal state in Germany.
The country key is defined in the global settings during the system implementation.
Since the country key does not have to match the ISO code in all installations, programs in which certain country key values overlap should not query the country key T005-LAND1, but should program the ISO code T005-INTCA.
