Definition
While the value assignments for control indicators can be changed by the customer, internal keys are predefined by SAP and used to control processes in payroll. SAP reserves the right to enhance the internal key or assign an internal key to additional control indicators.
Control Indicator 01: 1st Statistics Indicator
This indicator is not used by SAP but can be used by the customer.
Control Indicator 10: 2nd Statistics Indicator
This indicator is not used by SAP but can be used by the customer.
Control Indicator 02: Reason for Start of Pension
This field determines the underlying pension percentage to be used.

Control Indicator 06: Adjustment of Imputed Amount
This indicator controls the adjustment of pensions. The internal key is used for data medium exchange with the pension information service.
Internal Key Meaning
01 Pension participates in DME.
The amount is increased automatically in July due to the notification from the pension information service.
02 Pension participates in DME.
The amount must not be increased automatically in July due to the notification from the pension information service.
03 The pension amount is increased by the fixed percentage when adjusted. (This option is planned but not yet available).
Control Indicator 07: Legal Basis of Pension Calculation
This indicator is not evaluated in payroll. The internal key is not currently evaluated by SAP, but should not be predefined.
Control Indicator 08: Rules for Increased Insurance
This indicator controls the inclusion of the increased insurance amount when the pension is adjusted (infotype 0326). If an amount is entered in the "Increased Insurance" field, a rule must be entered. When the pension amount is adjusted, the internal key is evaluated.
01 More than 50% of the increased insurance was paid by the employer. Before the pension is adjusted, bonuses and voluntary contributions are subtracted. These are then added again afterwards.
02 Less than 50% of the increased insurance was paid by the employer. Before the pension is adjusted, bonuses and voluntary contributions are subtracted from the increased insurance amount.
03 The increased insurance amount is not taken into account.
Control Indicator 09: Indicator for Special Calculation
In payroll, the following internal keys are evaluated:
01 Man. Pension, No Adjustment
02 Man. Pension, Auto. Adjustment
03 Special Payt from Unred. Payts
