Documentation
Definition
Keys for insurance objects with which invoicing parameters can be specified.
Procedure
When creating an insurance object for the first time, enter a unique number in the insurance object field.
Notes
If insurance objects are created from different systems (in-force business system or claims system), it may be that the numbers from different systems coincide. In this case, SAP recommends adding a digit to the beginning of the number to identify which system it came from.
Examples
An object with number 1234 is created from the in-force business system as well as from the claims system. The number is therefore not unique. Give the object from the in-force system the number 10-1234 and the object from the claims system the number 20-1234.
If you want to create, change or display an insurance object in the insurance contract category, enter the number of the insurance contract in the insurance object field.
