Documentation
Definition
Specifies the ratio of the employee's inactive days to active days within the accrual period.
Use
Inactive days can be due to an employee joining or leaving the company, or due to certain absences.
You determine how the specified percentage affects the reduction of the accrual entitlements in the To percentage value and From percentage value fields.
The following rules apply:
- To percentage value: Specifies how the entitlements are reduced if the proportion of inactive days within the accrual period is less than the specified percentage value.
- From percentage value: Specifies how the entitlements are reduced if the proportion of inactive days within the accrual period is greater than or equal to the specified percentage value.
Procedure
Examples
If an employee has less than 10% unpaid absence within an accrual period, the accrual entitlement should not be reduced. If the proportion of unpaid absence is 10% or more, the employee's quota entitlement should be reduced proportionately.
