Update types contain information about a transaction in the parallel depreciation areas and in security-depot administration.

You define update types in Customizing, where you also assign them to one or more usage types. Some usage types require you to provide additional information.

Note

This characteristic is only displayed for the area of validity of the architecture of the parallel valuation areas . This means that this characteristic is empty for the area loans (CML) operative (valuation area 001 in integrated reporting).
