This value is passed on automatically to the person who holds the position in question.

Use
The teaching hours defined for the position are passed on to the holder of this position.
You define the number of hours involved in a reduction/change of teaching hours by assigning this change/reduction in teaching hours to a so-called 'reason for reducing/changing teaching hours'.
Negative values (5.00-, for example) represent a reduction in mandatory teaching hours.
Dependencies
The number of teaching hours assigned to a position can be changed/reduced on the basis of the information defined for the "reasons".
Example
A position is assigned 10 teaching hours per week.
However, the holder of this position also performs other duties in the institution (administrative duties, for example, or research activities).
The number of teaching hours assigned to this person via the position can be changed by means defining "reasons".
