Definition

Determines the matchcode of the physical account to be posted to.

Use

The matchcode enables you to determine the customer or vendor account to be posted to. You can specify how a matchcode should be determined by assigning the matchcode determination. You can make your selection using input help.

The values have the following meaning:

  1. No matchcode
No matchcode is used. This is the standard case, if no information exists on matchcode determination. The phyisical account is assigned to the symbolic account.
  2. Employer ID
The employee's employer ID is used from infotype Employer Number (0711), or if according to infotype Employer Number (0711) the insured person pays his or her own contributions, the personnel number is used.
  3. Personnel number
The personnel number is used to form the matchcode.
  4. Other pension fund
    This is currently not used.
  5. Business Add-In
You can use an implementation of Business Add-In HRPFD00FIIF to determine a matchcode.
  6. Feature
You can use feature determination to define a feature that determines a matchcode.

If the employer ID or the personnel number is used for the matchcode, the matchcode begins with E (employer ID) or P (personnel number). This prevents persons and employees from using the same matchcode because both matchcodes consist of an eight digit numberic field.
