Documentation
Definition
Overrides automatic processing by the system for the calculation of contributions for the special payment.
Use
- In this field, you can trigger the calculation of contributions on the special payment if, due to automatic processing by the system, contributions that are to be calculated for this employee have not been calculated.
- You can also lock the contribution calculation for special payments if, due to automatic processing by the system, contributions have been incorrectly calculated for this employee.
If you leave this field blank and if the special payment has been classed as subject to contributions by the system, the contributions are calculated.
Further notes
If you lock the contribution calculation for the special payment, the system ignores any existing value in the Number of contribution months field. If you trigger the contribution calculation, a predefined number of contribution months are taken into account.
Examples
An employee leaves the Public Sector and receives a partial payment. This partial payment is exempt from supplementary pension contributions. The system does not calculate the contributions for this payment.
However, if the employee changes employer within the Public Sector, the partial payment is subject to supplementary pension calculations. Since the system does not calculate the contributions in this case, you must trigger the calculation using this field.
