Definition
In the planning tool, the system recalculates the entire scenario group whenever you make any changes. In order to improve performance, you can now switch off this calculation feature. This means that you can make changes quickly. Whilst the calculation feature is switched off, the system does not update the costs assigned to the objects.
To update the values, you can either:
- Reactivate the calculation feature using the corresponding menu option. Note: this could also cause long run times.
- First save the scenario and exit the planning tool. You can then use the report RHPP25C0 to recalculate the scenario in the background.
Note
You cannot switch off the calculation feature for scenario groups that have already been released.
