Definition

This field identifies the start of a range of organizational unit(s) that are included in a particular plan scenario.

Supplementary Documentation - HR_O__SRK 0001

Use

Use this field to select which areas of a company should be included in a scenario, by specifying:

  • a single organizational unit in the From field, for example 50000002
  • a range of organizational units in the From and To fields, for example 50000002 to 50000030
  • a list of organizational units, for example 50000002, 50000030 to 50000035, and 50000040 to 50000045 (To do so, click on the arrow symbol. A window appears that lets you enter a list.)

NOTE: The system interprets your entries structurally. This means that for each selected organizational unit, the system also includes all underlying organizational units, in the scenario. (To limit this effect use the Depth field.)

NOTE: The system also considers entries in the Plan version and Planning scenario fields, when it builds up a scenario.

Procedure

To complete the field either:

  • type in the object ID of the organizational unit, or
  • use the search string feature to look up the organizational unit.
