Documentation
Definition
Once a selection has been made, the hit list contains the set of all objects that meet the selection criteria.
Data can be output on the objects in the hit list.
Use
The Display hit list function enables you to display the list of objects, and delete entries from the list as required. In this case, data is only output on the remaining personnel numbers. You can branch from the object list to other parts of the system. For example, you can branch to HR master data if you selected persons, or to detail maintenance if you selected business events.
The Delete hit list function enables you to delete the current hit list.
You can use the hit list for set operations. To do so, show the Complex Operations tab page. You can then execute the Copy to set A and Copy to set B functions to use the hit list for set operations.
Dependencies
Example
You have chosen the "City" selection field for a selection of persons, and entered "New York" as the value. Once the selection has been made, the field contains the total number of persons whose city is New York.
