Documentation
Definition
This field contains the set of all personnel numbers found that match the selection criteria and that will be used for the query output.
Use
You can use the functions (icons) List of pers. numbers and Copy pers. nos to precondition to further edit this list.
The function List of pers. numbers lets you display the list of personnel numbers (including names). From here you can also access employees' master data if required. In addition, you can deselect certain personnel numbers from the list if you do not want them included in the output. You may need to do so if the data output in the query is for external use for instance. If you deselect certain numbers, data is only output for the selected personnel numbers.
The function Copy pers. nos to precondition lets you specify the list of personnel numbers selected as a precondition for a further selection. In this case, you copy the number selected to the precondition field.
You can use the set of personnel numbers for complex operations in Expert Mode (tab page "Complex operations"). In this case, the personnel numbers in this field are processed in a set operation with the numbers in the field "Hits in preselection A".
Procedure
Delete personnel numbers from list
- To display the List of personnel numbers found for the selection, choose the pertinent icon.
- Deselect any personnel numbers that you want excluded from the list.
Take personnel numbers as precondition
- Choose Copy pers. nos to precondition.
The system copies the numbers as a precondition to the field Personnel numbers as precondition.
Examples
You select the field "City" and enter the value "Munich".
This field contains the number of employees that live in Munich.
