Definition

Refers to the year in which the vacation days -which have been built up during the corresponding holiday service year- are taken and paid.

Use

To calculate double holiday pay for white-collar workers, the system reads the records contained in infotype Holiday certificate (505). If the value in the Holiday year field equals the current payroll year, this value is used to settle holiday certificates.

Dependencies

Example

A company hires a white-collar worker as from 01.04.1999.

This employee was employed as a blue-collar worker at a previous employer from 01.06.1997 to 30.04.1998. As from 01.05.1998, he was employed as a white-collar worker at the same employer. He left his employer on 31.03.1999.

In this case, you have to create three records in Holiday certificate (505):

  • One for the period from 01.01.1998 to 30.04.1998, during which the employee was employed as a blue-collar worker, for which you enter 1999 in the Holiday year field.
  • One for the period from 01.05.1998 to 31.12.1998, for which you enter 1999 in the Holiday year field as well..
  • One for the period from 01.01.1999 to 31.03.1999, for which you enter 2000 in the Holiday year field.
