Use

Together with other additional account assignments for insurance and SAP standard account assignments, it forms the basis for statutory reporting to the German Federal Supervisory Office for Insurance.

You use the underwriting type

in gross business to differentiate between:

• Exclusive insurance transactions
• Leading coinsurance transactions
• Participation transactions

and in ceded business by:

• Reinsurance contract types.

Dependencies

You can enter the field in FI or FS-CD. It is transferred to the Special Ledger for insurance, where it is evaluated.
